A short, honest account of what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.
Last updated August 2026
What we collect
Only what the job needs: your name, email address, phone number and, where a visit is involved, the address. If you hold an account we also store your bookings, invoices and the payment references you declare.
Passwords are never stored as text. They are hashed with scrypt, which means even we cannot read them.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, keep your appointment, raise and settle your invoice, and meet the record-keeping obligations that come with running a limited company.
What we do not do
We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to advertisers. We do not run advertising trackers on this website, and the only cookie the site sets is the one that keeps you signed in.
Who else sees it
Only the people in the division handling your work, and where necessary the contractor carrying out a job at your address. Our bank sees the payment reference you quote, as banks do.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years. Records tied to an invoice are kept for six years, because tax law says so. After that they are deleted.
Your say
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Write to info@ajekigbebusiness.com and we will reply within 30 days.
